Terms of Service

1. About the Service

6-7 SMP is a free Minecraft multiplayer server and companion website operated by CraftCorps. The service is provided at no cost to players. There are no paid subscriptions, microtransactions, or premium tiers. All features are available to all players equally.

By using 6-7 SMP (the Minecraft server at play.6-7.uk and in.6-7.uk, and the website at 6-7.uk), you agree to these terms.

2. Eligibility

You must own a valid Minecraft (Java or Bedrock) account to use the server. If you are under 16, you should have a parent or guardian's permission to use this service.

3. Account

You may create a web account by using the /verify command in-game. You are responsible for keeping your password secure. If you suspect unauthorized access, change your password immediately or contact staff.

Each player may only have one account. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent bans or exploit features is not permitted.

4. Rules of Conduct

When using 6-7 SMP, you agree to:

• Treat other players with respect. Harassment, hate speech, bullying, and discrimination are not tolerated.
• Not use hacks, exploits, cheats, or modified clients that give an unfair advantage.
• Not grief, steal from, or intentionally disrupt other players' builds or gameplay.
• Not spam, advertise, or share inappropriate content in chat or on the website.
• Not attempt to exploit, hack, or interfere with the server infrastructure or website.
• Follow any additional rules posted on the server or communicated by staff.

Violating these rules may result in warnings, temporary bans, or permanent bans at the discretion of staff.

5. Virtual Items and Currency

The in-game marketplace uses a virtual currency ("coins") earned through gameplay activities such as voting. Coins and all virtual items (marketplace listings, inventory items, land claims) exist solely within the game and have no real-world monetary value. They cannot be exchanged for real money, goods, or services outside of 6-7 SMP.

CraftCorps reserves the right to modify, reset, or remove virtual items and currency at any time for operational reasons (e.g., bug fixes, rebalancing, server resets).

6. User Content

Content you create on the service (chat messages, support tickets, marketplace listings) remains yours. By posting it, you grant CraftCorps a non-exclusive license to display and transmit that content as part of the service's normal operation (e.g., showing chat messages to other players, displaying your market listings).

Do not post content that is illegal, infringing, or violates the rules of conduct above.

7. Service Availability

6-7 SMP is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do our best to keep the server and website running, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability. The service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, technical issues, or factors outside our control.

CraftCorps reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the service (or any part of it) at any time, with or without notice.

8. Termination

You may stop using 6-7 SMP at any time. You may request deletion of your web account by contacting staff.

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms or the rules of conduct. In case of a ban, you may appeal through our Discord server.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, CraftCorps and its volunteers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to loss of virtual items, data, or gameplay progress.

Since 6-7 SMP is a free service provided by volunteers, our total liability to you for any claim arising from the service is limited to zero (0) EUR.

10. Privacy

Your use of the service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains what data we collect and how we handle it. In short: we only collect data necessary to make the service work, and we do not sell or share your data for commercial purposes.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. For significant changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify players (e.g., via Discord or in-game announcement).

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the European Union and the applicable member state where CraftCorps operates. Any disputes shall be resolved in accordance with applicable EU consumer protection regulations. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer under EU law.
